True Commitment and Best Customer Service A customer sent a printer model BJC455J to our Malacca Branch Service Center. But we did not have any information about the model because this model was already obsolete and was only available in Japan. Without hesitation, we wrote to Canon in Japan through our Regional Office in Singapore to acquire the information. Upon receiving the information from our Regional Office, our technician immediately went into action and repaired the machine. The customer who sent in the printer was informed on the same day to have the above printer collected. The customer was very proud of the effort that we have put in and the responsibility in getting his printer working. The effort that we have put in will strengthen the working relationship, friendship and mutual understanding between the two companies. As a customer oriented company, we have shown our Canon true commitment in delivering the best customer service to all our customers. Financial services-Tier 1, local anchor bank CLASS - VERY FIRST HARD BUNDLE PC & LBP-800 A customer purchased 700 units of laser printer Brand X in 1997 and these started to break down after a while. This prompted the customer to send these machines for repair. The repair cost appeared to be high and the customer was looking for options. Our close dealer had enough foresight to predict this event and proposed that they replace their aging laser printer with Canon LBP-800. As the cost of repairs was high, they seriously considered the LBP-800, which carries 3 years on-site warranty and services nationwide. Oil & Gas Industry - documentation services organization CLASS - VERY FIRST CP-660 SOLD IN MALAYSIA The very first CP-660 sold in Malaysia, was sold to an organization specializing in the documentation of ISO procedures for the Oil & Gas Industry. This organization is UK based with a local representative office in Petaling Jaya. An average manual consisting of just one procedure results in a 100 page manual A3 size. The average print job (spooled) is around 300 Mb and takes around 45 minutes for the first page to be printed out. At first, the customer was quite pleased that Competitor A sent their demonstration unit and requested that Canon Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd install our machine similar to Competitor A to determine the actual performance. Evaluation was conducted and they found that Canon CP-660 was marginally faster.
