VisualCalô platform-independant calibration system, automatically maintain the quality
and the precision of the CP-660PS's colour output.
A range of sophisticated colour management gives you full control:

InterColor Profile.
- EFI® ColorWiseô Colour Rendering Dictionaries
- allows user to match the look to the purpose by choosing among Photographic, Presentation,

Capacity
Designed to take care of your communications with ease and efficiency, the CP-660PS
is built around Canon's latest engine, a high performance EFI controller with its
sleek RipChipsô architecture, and a wide range of standard and optional features.
A variety of paper supply options including a 2 x 500-sheet paper deck and a 2,000-sheet
paper deck equip the CP-660PS to handle high-volume printing without constant human
attention. Continuous printô helps keep the printer operating at full speed while
the RIP-While-Printô lets the printer process new pages while the current page is
still being printed.
The standard 2.1GB hard disk drive gives you access to a range of functions such
as spooling, electronic collation, job logging and font downloading. The 64MB of
RAM, expandable to 256MB, gives the CP-660PS the capacity to process complex tasks
effortlessly.
Flexibility
The CP-660PS engine and its revolutionary new Intermediate Transfer Drum technology
have made possible a straight paper path. Consistent output quality can be maintained
over a wide range of media, including thicker stocks, envelopes, labels, glossy film
and transparencies.
Standard 100Base-T networking prepares the CP-660PS for high-speed network traffic,
and of course the new printer offers the flexibility of multiple protocol readiness.
Further the CP-660PS handles both leading page description languages: Adobe PostScript
3 and PCL5C emulation.
You can choose from numerous powerful network utilities:
- Canon's NetSport remote administration software facilitates
printer configuration and monitoring.
- Fiery WebToolsô allows printer wordklow to be controlled
via the Internet or an intranet.
- WebDownloaderô makes it possible to print not only
PostScript and PCL files but also PDF files without opening application.
- The 7-bin sorter - the destination bin can be selected
from the printer driver, or with Job Separation selected, each print job can be directed
to the next availbale bin.
