Cordless printing
An interface is included for IrDA1.1 infrared communications. Cordless printing
makes it easy to print while in transit or otherwise occupied.
Compatible with H/PC based on Windows CE 2.10
Compatible with the standard operating system for mobile information devices.
IrDA, USB and parallel multi-interface are provided as standard, allowing printing
from Windows 98 and from the Mac OS with USB interface.
Greater mobility
A portable kit (with external battery) is available as an option. In addition,
a universal adapter is included with each printer to adapt to the voltage settings
of various countries, allowing the printer to be used on overseas business trips.
High resolution printing
In addition to high resolution printing of 720 x 360 dpi, a four-color photo
ink cartridge is available for photo quality printing. Drop Modulation Technology
is used to enhance images by smoothing the grains in light-coloured portions.
High speed printing
Monochrome printing speed is on a par with that of desktop printers, at 5 pages
per minute, so you can print with confidence while on the road or in clientís offices.
Colour sheets can be printed at 2 pages per minute. |

Photo Optimiser
Photo Optimiser automatically corrects the image data received from a source
such as a digital camera. With just one click, it produces image output optimised
for hues, brightness and contrast. |
Mobile scanning
For 360 dpi high-resolution full-colour portable scanning, simply replace the
BJ cartridge with the compact IS-12 scanner cartridge. (Changeover is a snap). This
makes it easy to create and print documents that include maps, pictures, etc. while
on business trips.
