Fast incredible print speed
Bi-directional printing with multi-nozzle head. The multi-nozzle prints two to three
lines simultaneously and in both directions using either monochrome or colour settings.
The result is a staggering throughput speed of 10 pages per minute for monochrome
text and 7 pages per minute for colour* easily the fastest in its class.

Drop Modulation Technology for fast, high-quality
output
Drop Modulation Technology generates two ink-droplet sizes for every colour, allowing
smaller droplets to be used for low-density sections, and larger droplets for high-density
sections. Both dot sizes are printed simultaneously, enabling high-speed printing
with no compromise in quality.
High-resolution printing
The smaller droplets produced using Drop Modulation Technology enable high-resolution
printing (up to 1,440 x 720 dpi*) with greater dot density and more detail. Complex
gradations thus appear smooth and natural.
High-density, sharp black text printing
The black BJ cartridge employs pigment ink for improved print density and greater
water resistance, creating text that appears clear and razor-sharp on the page.
Crystal clear print quality using six variable density in colours
A full range of six variable-density ink colours* ensures natural-looking photo prints
with bright, vivid colours. This enables realistic reproduction of light, intermediate
colours (such as skin tones) and glossy surfaces (such as metal).

Independent ink-tank system allows ink colours
to be replaced separately
The independent ink-tank system enables individual inks to be replaced as they run
out, thus preventing waste and maximising efficiency in ink usage.
Accurate ink-level detection
Accurate ink-level detectors in the cartridge provide "Ink Low" and "Ink
Out" warning messages as ink levels drop. this warning system helps prevent
wastage caused by ink running out during printing.
Dual Interface
The printer comes standard with a parallel interface and a USB interface* for direct
connection to Windows 98, Windows 2000 or the Mac OS with USB interface.
Colour scanner capability
Simply insert the IS-32* compact scanner cartridge in the BJC-6200 to transform your
printer into a scanner with a high resolution of 720 dpi. Prints out enlargements
of selected portions of photographs (or other images) in full clarity.
Whisper-quiet operation
Operating noise is lower than 45 dB, making the printer ideal for home or SOHO environments.
