There are various types of ink cartridges suited to different types of printers. The construction of ink cartridges, depending on model, comes with or without print head. The print head is where all the microchips and nozzles sit in. Most of Canon Bubble Jet printers comes with detachable ink cartridges and print heads. This is made flexible for long run costs savings and affordable replacement inks.

Ask yourself these few questions:

1. Do I only want to print in Black?

A: Yes
B: No

2. Do I only want to print in Colour?

A: Yes
B: No

3. Do I want to achieve Fluorescent Colour Printing?

A: Yes
B: No

4. Do I want to print skin tone?

A: Yes
B: No

Guide 3:

As mentioned before, some inks come with print head whereas other models may not. If you look at the models, the alphabet BC-XXX comes with print head whereas the BCI-XXX does not.
