All Canon Bubble Jet Printer comes with printer drivers. You should be able to
find it in the carton box packaging. Every printer model has its own set of drivers
and although some of these drivers are compatible with other Bubble Jet models, some
applcation may not apply. Therefore it is recommended that you use the specific driver
provided by the manufacturer.
There are 2 ways of installing a printer driver:
1. Install using the CD provided in the carton box
2. Install through Canon's Website
Install using CD
Step 1
Insert CD into CD ROM driver of your computer
Step 2
Wait for auto-detect by the computer
Step 3
A prompt will appear on your monitor screen for installation to take place.
Step 4
Click "Start" for installation to take place.
Step 5
Follow the instructions prompted to you on the screen and you'll be ready in
no time.
Install thorugh Canon's Website
This could be a longer process as you need to download
the Driver to your PC, expand it, before installation takes place.
Step 1
Log on to the internet with the address below:
www.canon-asia.com
Select "Downloads" on the top menu/navigation
bar.
Step 2
(i) Agree to the downloading policy; and
(ii) Select your computer's Operating System.

Step 3
Select the product which you would like to download (in this case Printer).
Step 4
Scroll to select your printer model and click the red highlighted text for downloading.
Step 5
Choose "save to application" and choose a directory and file name you
wish to save it in.
Step 6
When downloading is complete, open the file in Windows Explorer (found in every
computer).
Step 7
Select and open your file. Look for "Setup.exe" and a list of files
will be extracted and opened.
Step 8
Click on "Start" button at the lower left hand-side of your computer
screen and click "Setting", "Printer"
Step 9
Click "Add Printer".
Step 10
Follow the instruction for installation.
